1. Underwater Zoo

4. Sharks
The Dubai Mall Aquarium is an expansive aquatic sanctuary that features all sorts of sea life. It's the perfect destination for families to come together and have some fun.
Sharks are the star attractions at this attraction and you can get up close and personal with them with cage snorkelling! This involves entering a cage and diving into waist deep water.
Here, you can take a glass-bottom boat ride to witness sharks in their natural environment. Plus, watch as the main tank features sharks being fed!
5. Turtles
The underwater zoo is home to sharks, stingrays and vast schools of fish - creating an incredible kaleidoscope of colour and life. Visitors can also take a leisurely walk through the 48-metre acrylic tunnel beneath the tank for an awe-inspiring view of the sea from just 11 metres below.
The Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project is unique among other projects in the Middle East and Red Sea region, saving and rehabilitating sick or injured turtles before they are released back into the ocean.
6. Seahorses
Dubai Mall Aquarium is one of the world's largest walk-in aquaria, featuring more than 33,000 aquatic creatures - including 300 sharks and rays!
The aquarium is divided into three ecological zones; rainforest, rocky shore, and living ocean. Additionally, there is an underwater zoo with 40 aquatic displays.
7. Sea Lions
The Dubai Mall Aquarium is the world's largest indoor aquarium, boasting over 33,000 aquatic creatures in a 10-million liter tank.
Attraction also features a large zoo and underwater tunnel where visitors can observe King Croc, a 5-meter saltwater crocodile, as well as other exotic creatures.
Get up close and personal with sea lions in a safe and fun environment. You'll learn about these affectionate marine animals as you swim and play with them in shallow water.
8. Sea Turtles
For anyone visiting Dubai, the aquarium is a must-stop. Here, thousands of marine creatures enjoy 10 million gallons of water filled with aquatic creatures and there are plenty of exciting shows to enjoy as well.
Five critically endangered juvenile hawksbill turtles have been rescued off the coast by Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP). After three months of rehabilitation at this aquarium, they will be returned fitted with satellite tags and released back into the Gulf after receiving satellite tags.
9. Turtles
Dubai Mall Aquarium is the ideal spot to witness a variety of turtles. Here, you'll find Hawksbill turtles, Green, Loggerhead and Olive Ridley turtles among others.
All sea turtles on display were saved by the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project, located at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and Madinat Jumeirah. It is unique among other projects of its kind in Middle East and Red Sea region. Managed jointly with Wildlife Protection Office, Dubai Falcon Clinic and Central Veterinary Research Laboratory provide essential veterinary services.
