Umm Al Quwain Fort is home to the UAE National Museum. Constructed by Sheikh Rashid bin Majid Al Mualla - founder of Al Mualla ruling dynasty - it served as residence and center of government until 1969 when it was converted into police station and eventually opened as museum.

It presents ethnographic exhibits featuring local culture, crafts, and artistry as well as artifacts from Ed-Dur. Visitors can explore this museum within two hours for AED 4. Admission fee applies for children.
